La Collina has chosen to offer you a unique wine-tasting experience, a unique format in which they chose to dedicate important quality time to you. Sara, the fifth generation of this family-run winery, will welcome you to the historic structure, the 19th-century winery where the family's winemaking history began. Together with Sara, you will retrace the stages and anecdotes that have brought the winery to the present day, and with her you will stroll through the hilly vineyards on the property, leaving you enchanted by the striking and unexpected landscape.
You will then arrive in the vineyard, the beating heart of La Collina, where you will have the opportunity to observe and touch the vines with your own hands while Sara explains the peculiarities that make the Bergamasque wine-growing area strongly suited to the production of wine.
Finally, in the tasting room, an intense tasting of 5 labels awaits you: two historic white wines, Valcalepio Doc Classico, Valcalepio Doc 10-year reserve, the winery's flagship, and a limited edition line. Together with Sara, you will try to recognize the olfactory and gustatory aromas released in each glass through a sensory game and pair the wines with local and artisanal gastronomy, starting with a cheese tasting of fine buffalo-only cheeses, a delicacy of the Valcalepio territory, accompanied by characteristic and uncommon cold cuts such as buffalo and sheep salami and artisan baked goods, ending with a sweet pairing with 70% dark chocolate.
