Welcome to the ALEMAT winery, a family dream come true!
Today ALEMAT (A l'è Mat!), which in Piedmontese dialect means "he's crazy!", is looking forward to hosting you for a special wine-tasting experience.
The winery is located in Ponzano Monferrato, in an area that has become a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
In fact, the vineyards of the Langhe-Roero and Monferrato are an exceptional example of man's interaction with his natural environment and this area is particularly famous for the Infernot, the characteristic underground temples of Monferrato, an area dedicated to wine.
These cellars are like jewels, carved out of the rock.
In this experience, you will be guided to the discovery of the winery!
After the unmissable visit to the Infernot, excavated 200 years ago, you will have the opportunity to taste 4 fine wines; Piemonte Riesling DOC, Grignolino d’Asti DOC, Vino Rosso, and Barbera Superiore d’Asti DOCG. The wines will be accompanied by a small selection of local cheese and cold cuts.
