Here, the estate's wines rest and mature slowly in large oak barrels, following the historic method used for Brunello di Montalcino DOCG.
A short scenic walk takes you to La Gerla's vineyard, a single plot surrounding the estate, offering a stunning 180° view of the iconic Sienese countryside — the perfect setting to immerse yourself in the essence of Tuscany. Your experience concludes in the historic watchtower dating back to 1100 AD, now transformed into an intimate tasting space. Here, you’ll enjoy a guided tasting of 100% Sangiovese wines, exploring the unique character of each denomination: IGT, DOC, and DOCG.
