Discover the Great Classics of the Langhe territory with this tasting at Podere Gagliassi.

Get ready to spend moments of pure poetry and be transported to a unique sensory experience. The Podere Gagliassi winery was born in 2016 with the total restructuring of the vineyards entrusted to Roberto Forno and his son Eugenio. Since 2019, Roberto and Eugenio have been in charge of winemaking, with the valuable collaboration of winemaker Serena Cordero. On an area of 16 hectares, they produce Nebbiolo, Barbera, Alta Langa (Pinot Noir and Chardonnay) and Dolcetto grapes. All the vineyards are located around the Podere, with the exception of the Badarina vineyard of Nebbiolo da Barolo, which is in the commune of Serralunga d'Alba. Podere Gagliassi is founded on tradition, culture and love for the land, the fundamental principles that sustain it. Although certification was made official in 2020, already since 2017 all the farm's crops follow organic farming principles.

The guided tour begins at our winery in Località Sant'Anna, in front of the famous Cru “Le Coste di Monforte,” where historical Langhe vines can be observed. The experience begins with a tour of our vineyards and a brief description of our winery, followed by a tour inside our cellar and barrique cellar.

In conclusion, you'll enjoy a tasting of the Great Classics of our area, the Langhe, produced exclusively by us from our grapes, which have made famous names such as Barbera d'Alba, Langhe Bianco, and Nebbiolo d'Alba, all DOC certified and 100% Organic.

Ho prenotato io questa visita per me e dei miei familiari provenienti da Milano, premetto che vado spesso nelle langhe e conosco già le cantine più blasonate e mi piace scoprirne di nuove, come in questo caso podere gagliassi un podere al confine con la zona del barolo che mi ha incuriosito. Volevo fare subito un plauso alla presenza di colonnine elettriche a destinazione ottimo servizio per i clienti e denota un occhio all'innovazione e sostenibilità. L'accoglienza è stata ottima un ragazzo giovane ci ha formati e informati sulle zone di produzione dei vini e sui vitigni poi la visita al podere e alla cantina, il nostro accompagnatore è stato professionale e competente anche a qualche mia domanda spinosa , la cantina è di recente costruzione perciò di storia deve ancora farne. Comunque mi sento di dire che la professionalità e simpatia del nostro accompagnatore ha aggiunto un tocco in più ad una cantina che ha un buonissimo punto di partenza . Voto finale 8 .

Posto molto bello, la ragazza che spiegava molto preparata, cordiale e simpatica. Abbiamo appreso nozioni e curiosità che non sapevamo su tipologie di uve e procedimenti. La degustazione dei vini è stata un viaggio sensoriale che ripeterei volentieri.

A short walk on the vineyard's with stories about the area and winery was a good start for the reason behind the visit. Wine tasting thru variety was well organized and in the end the possibility of vertical tasting of different Barolos was great end for the visit.

If plan to visit, consider to reserve a table for a lunch or dinner from the restaurant. Unfortunately we missed that opportunity.
