Here is what's in store for you
Set off from Bordeaux in a comfortable vehicle and head north to two renowned wine regions: Saint-Émilion and Pomerol, both part of the Libournais area.
Your first stop is a château near Saint-Émilion, where you will enjoy a guided wine tasting that reveals how soil and climate shape the character and flavor profiles of the grapes, uncovering the secrets behind Bordeaux’s world-famous wines. The journey continues with a guided walking tour through the enchanting medieval village of Saint-Émilion, a UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrated for its centuries-old vineyards, historic wine cellars, and picturesque châteaux. You will then have leisure time to explore at your own pace, browse the boutiques, or enjoy lunch in one of the village’s inviting restaurants (at your own expense).
In the afternoon, the experience takes you to the prestigious wine region of Pomerol. Here, you will visit a Grand Cru Classé château, where you will deepen your knowledge of the winemaking process during an insightful tour of the cellar and vat house before savoring a second guided tasting of exceptional wines. At the end of the day, your guide will accompany you back to Bordeaux, completing a round-trip through some of the most celebrated terroirs of the region.
