Here is what's in store for you

This wine experience includes a deep focus and immersion in the philosophy of the production of Terre del Marchesato, a small family-run winery located in the heart of the production area of Bolgheri.

Here's the experience you're going to live:

- We'll start from the vineyards, where it will be illustrated the history of the estate, the production philosophy and the Bolgheri territory;
- Then we'll go to visit the cellar with an introduction to the main methods of winemaking;
- We'll finish with a great tasting of 3 wines:
PAPEO: DOC Bolgheri White
EMILIO PRIMO ROSSO: DOC Bolgheri Rosso
MARCHESALE: DOC Bolgheri Superiore

The tasting is accompanied by bruschetta with oil of own production.

Esperienza da fare e... rifare!

Degustazione "classic". L'esperienza inizia con una suggestiva passeggiata tra i vigneti, prosegue all'interno della cantina tra i tini d'acciaio e le barrique di pregiato legno francese per poi concludersi con il momento della degustazione dei vini in una calda e accogliente veranda.
Serena, la nostra guida, ci ha accompagnato in questo percorso con fare estremamente professionale e empatico allo stesso tempo: le sue spiegazioni sono state estremamente dettagliate ma comunque comprensibili anche a chi, come noi, di vini se ne intendeva poco. Se avete qualche curiosità, non avete che da chiedere: vi darà tutte le risposte che cercate.
La nostra degustazione comprendeva tre vini: un bianco (Papeo) e due rossi (Emilio Primo e Tarabuso), molto buoni. Ad accompagnare i vini un piattino di crostini intinti nell'olio di loro produzione, anche questo molto buono. Infine, ci è stato offerto dalla gentilissima Serena un assaggio del loro gin.
Torneremo sicuramente per il secondo round!

Ragazze molto preparate ci hanno accompagnato alla scoperta di questa bellissima cantina illustrando al meglio il percorso dalla vigna alla bottiglia.
Ottimi i vini e in particolare ci ha piacevolmente stupite il Papero per la sua eleganza e struttura.

An unforgettable experience at Terre del Marchesato

We visited as a family for their wine tasting tour, which also included a walk through the vineyard and a visit to the winemaking facilities. The entire experience was absolutely amazing - from the stunning location and warm ambiance to the exceptional service.
Our guide, Serena, was fantastic - knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. She made us feel welcome from the very start and took such great care of us throughout the tour.
The wines were outstanding, each one better than the last, and the fresh bread with olive oil was simply delicious. We even ended up buying their amazing gin, which was a wonderful surprise!
Truly a perfect experience that made our day - highly recommended to anyone visiting Bolgheri!

Visita in cantina

Abbiamo partecipato ad una visita in cantina con degustazione di alcuni vini e visita dei vigneti e della barricaia.

La referente della cantina è stata molto gentile e ci ha fornito le varie informazioni sui gradevoli vini e sulla cantina.

Belli gli ambienti di accoglienza per la degustazione.
Aumentare il numero dei vini da assaporare (solo 3, in altre cantine 4/5), anche se ci hanno fatto provare un buon Gin ed un buon "muffato".

Durante la degustazione ci sono stati serviti dei piccoli tranci di pane intrisi con l'olio di loro produzione; suggerisco di ampliare un pochino l'offerta del pane anche con grissini artigianali, crackers e così via (alcune cantine offrono anche i formaggi locali, anche se un po' in contrasto con le buone pratiche di tasting)..

Bella esperienza

Siamo stati con la famiglia ad una visita in cantina con degustazione. Personale accogliente e preparato. Ambiente curato e prodotti di qualità. Abbiamo apprezzato molto i vini, i crostini con l'olio e il panettone offerto. Unico appunto: non è molto carino a mio avviso che persone con pacchetti di degustazione diversi facciano l'esperienza insieme, nel nostro caso c'erano persone che avevano prenotato un'esperienza premium e quindi assaggiavano vini più/diversi rispetto ai nostri. Suggerirei di accorpare gruppi con la stessa experience per fare in modo che tutti provino le stesse cose e non si crei disagio (cosa che in questo caso non è successa perché le persone erano molto gentili però potrebbe accadere).
In ogni caso nel complesso bene :)

Unfortunately, our guide spoke very poor English, making it difficult to follow the content. During the tasting, she left the room after pouring the third wine, never to return! It seemed like she was busy in the wineshop. Onfortunately, experiences about the taste couldn't be shared. Questions couldn't be asked. By the way, only a very small amount of wine was offered for tasting. There was no opportunity to ask for another sip. While she was gone......It all came across as very routine. She seemed distant throughout the entire tour. Hopefully, she had just a bad day.

A friendlier guide with better command of the English language, that doesn't walk away without saying anything........
Perhaps some information about the grapes and the wine making process on paper.

Visita e degustazione nella campagna livornese

Siamo stati alle Terre del Marchesato in un caldo pomeriggio di luglio e ne siamo rimasti entusiasti. Ci ha colpito in particolare la grande competenza e passione della nostra guida, che ci ha accompagnati in un percorso affascinante tra la storia del Bolgheri, l’azienda, le vigne e le cantine.

La degustazione è stata impeccabile: abbiamo assaggiato tre vini molto diversi tra loro, accompagnati da bruschette con un ottimo olio EVO e panettone locale. Grazie alle spiegazioni dettagliate sui sapori e sui possibili abbinamenti (aperitivi, carni rosse, ecc.), abbiamo apprezzato ancora di più ogni calice.

I vini che ci hanno conquistato di più sono stati il "Papeo" e l’"Emilio Primo Rosso", che abbiamo anche deciso di acquistare.

Un’esperienza che consiglio vivamente, soprattutto a chi desidera scoprire il vino locale in un contesto autentico e curato.
Consiglio di assaggiare anche il loro Gin, merita!
