The passion and love for wines and the traditions of the Langhe have always been among the deepest roots of the Cagliero family. The Caglieros, in fact, are grafted onto the robust stock of one of the oldest families of Barolese winemakers, as attested by historical documents dating back to the second half of the 1500s.
The difficult years at the beginning of the twentieth century, characterized by the arrival of the great diseases of the vine, also forced the Caglieros, like many families of winemakers, to move away from their lands, loved but spoiled, and to seek their fortune in the city. Despite this, his presence in Barolo was however assured by his uncle Giovanni Battista, who continued to look after the family vineyards with love and tenacity.

With this tour you'll visit the production cellar and listen to the description of the wines produced (with tasting of the great DOC and DOCG of the Barolo area) and of the vinification techniques through the story of the path that leads from the grape to the bottle of wine (such as the grapes used, type fermentation, use of wood, etc.).
