Here is what's in store for you

This exclusive full-day wine & food tour will take you to the heart of the Bassa Parmense, part of the province of Parma known for its fogs and particular microclimate, to discover the mastery of the local winemakers, by the sweet and enveloping taste of Lambrusco and the slightly astringent taste of Malvasia. The experience also includes a visit to a Parmigiano Reggiano dairy and a maturing cellar for Culatello di Zibello, the king of Italian cured meats.

Leaving Parma, your first stop will be at a cheese factory to see how milk is transformed into Parmigiano Reggiano. Discover how this cheese can be aged for years to improve its quality without the need for chemical additives. You will then learn to recognize the various aging stages by enjoying a Parmigiano Reggiano tasting led by an expert.

Your next stop will be at Antica Corte Pallavicina, an ancient family mansion, to visit the aging cellars of Culatello di Zibello, the most prestigious Italian ham with a noble history. You'll be able to admire some unique Culatello hams pre-ordered by chef Massimo Bottura, King Charles, and many more famous lovers of Culatello di Zibello. During the guided tasting, you'll get to savor the overwhelming aroma of this unique product together with other local cold cuts and a good glass of wine.

Lunch will be served at a countryside restaurant, or directly at the winery, and will consist of local delicacies like cold cuts, tortelli d'erbetta, fresh pasta, and house cakes accompanied by the local sparkling wine.

After stopping for lunch, it will be time for the winery visit. You'll visit a local winery set in a beautiful scenario in the rolling Parma hills. Starting from the vineyards, you'll discover the winery's winemaking philosophy, lying between tradition and innovation.  A final guided tasting of at least 3 wines will round up your Parma food & wine tour.
