At Vins et Vinos, each tasting is a relaxed and informal journey through the wines of Languedoc-Roussillon, from Roman times to the present day. The experience invites guests to explore the region’s winemaking history, learn how wines were made in the past and how they are crafted today, and discover the art of tasting and describing wines.
Throughout the session, participants sample 8 to 10 different wines that represent the key styles of the region. The tasting is accompanied by platters of cheese, charcuterie, freshly baked bread, and olive oil, perfectly paired with the wines.
The experience lasts approximately two and a half hours and offers insight into how different wines are made, the stories and history behind the wineries and winemakers presented, and the many factors — from climate and soil to vineyard location and winemaking techniques — that influence the final aroma and flavor of each wine.
With a maximum of eight guests per session, the tasting at Vins et Vinos ensures an intimate, comfortable atmosphere where participants can fully enjoy the wines and interact freely with their expert host, Alexander.
