Wine tasting experience at Il Pignetto Winery

Welcome to Il Pignetto Winery. The winery is located on the morainal hills that frame south-eastern Lake Garda, near to the beautiful Verona. In their history they have looked for the best quality of products, always keeping in mind some fundamental values like the respect for the environment: the winery strongly believes that it is important to preserve the land from soil depletion and pollution. They try to enrich our lands with organic compost and they avoid using chemicals in weeding which is carried out only by mechanical processing along the vine rows. They don’t use pesticides, because they prefer the method of the sexual confusion (that with hormones provide the insects from reproduction). They also started working with solar panels, which guarantees clean energy for our activities.

This winery is a family-run business. During your visit Adriano will answer all your questions about wines, because he follows every step of their production. When he’s busy you’ll find his wife Monica: she’ll be able to make you feel like home.

After explaining you the history and the wines produced, you'll be tasting 4 wines, paired with bruschetta, cured meats, cheese and other specialities. They have typical products of the Lake Garda, such as Bardolino, Chiaretto and Custoza, but many others:  more structured red wines, such as Campo del Bepi and Morandone, sparkling wines and moreover!
