Indeed, Mambrini Winery is very unusual, because it is composed of several plots of land in the area of Poggio Murella.

Today this family-run company offers you the chance to live a unique moment in which you can follow a sensorial instructive path.

The tour starts walking through the vineyards and finishes in the winery, where you'll get all the information about the wine-making process.
You will taste 3 wines, a Passito wine and you'll be able to taste also some local delicacies. It's the familiar atmosphere that will let you fall in love with this place... and with great wines everything is even better!

Amazing and Unique Selection

We drive in and enjoy the delightful signs to the winery and the gorgeous views of the valley. Raffaella immediately appeared to welcome us with a tray of salamis and breads dipped in the olive oil that they also produce and then ushered us into the main room to explain the wines. She explained the entire catalog and we were saddened that we had only booked a package with 3. We selected the white Francescone, golden Viognier, and the signature Sangiovese; we also sampled the vermouth and the 2 dessert wines. All were absolutely superb, but the Viognier by itself justifies the trip. It is a white wine fermented with the skins and gains a delightful orange gold color with a flavor surprisingly similar to a red. We followed the tasting with a little walk around the vineyards (it was a windy November day so we cut that short). Our only issue was that we had booked last minute right before a convention and they had already packed up their card reader so we couldn't buy as many bottles as we wanted.
To the winery, none! It was a stellar experience
To winedering: it would be nice to have the details in email form, so that when we have limited reception we can still confirm the time and address.

Siamo stati accolti dal signor Stefano,il quale con una grandissima gentilezza e un entusiasmo non indifferente ci ha spiegato i vini che producono,rigorosamente bio, e cosa li rende tali.Abbiamo fatto la degustazione,accompagnata da salumi formaggi e bruschette.I vini erano uno più buono dell'altro infatti abbiamo deciso di acquistarne un paio.Consigliatissimo.
