This wine tour takes you to the exceptional Abaia Winery, where the winemaking process occurs within two repurposed communist bunkers.
The experience begins with a visit to the vineyard, where you will learn about agricultural practices and the impact of the terroir on the wines. Following the vineyard tour, you’ll visit the winery to discover how the winemaking and aging processes unfold within these historic bunkers.
The highlight of the tour is a tasting session in the winery’s picturesque tasting room, located beside the vineyard. You will enjoy 3 different wines and 2 spirits (raki) paired with traditional appetizers.
The lunch menu includes a fresh seasonal salad, a traditional appetizer platter with six regional dishes, succulent lamb with roasted potatoes, and a delightful dessert. Each course is paired with wines from the tasting, perfectly complementing the flavors.
