Your experience at Poderi Arcangelo begins with a welcome from Sandra Mora, the owner, or the estate's sommelier. The visit starts with a guided walk through the vineyards, followed by a tour of the barrel cellar where you'll learn about the property's winemaking process.
After the tour, you'll settle in for your tasting on the panoramic terrace or under the covered loggia. You will taste five organic wines, chosen by the sommelier from the estate's collection based on your preferences. The selection changes but can include reds, whites, and rosés from appellations like Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG, Chianti DOCG, and Toscana IGT. Alongside the wines, you'll also sample the estate's own organic extra virgin olive oil.
The tasting is paired with a selection of Tuscan products, including local cold cuts such as salami and finocchiona, pecorino cheese, and bruschetta with fresh tomatoes and the estate's olive oil. This two-hour experience is a full immersion into the flavors of the San Gimignano area, guided by the people who produce them.
