Bodegas Izadi
(Winery in Banos de Ebro/Manueta)

Provides 2 wine tastings and winery visit from €35.00
Bodegas Izadi nace en 1987 de la mano de Gonzalo Antón, quien, junto a un conjunto de amigos y empresarios vitorianos, crea un proyecto innovador en el corazón de Rioja Alavesa. Villabuena de Álava, where part of the family was already linked to the world of viticulture, was the chosen village to build an innovative winery focused on producing high-quality wines. Gonzalo Antón's vast knowledge of hospitality and catering led him to conceive a wine, Izadi, which soon became one of the most appreciated in the gastronomic world. At the same time, the incorporation of new winemaking techniques and his constant drive for improvement helped create a unique style that has been consolidated over time. In the year 2000, the incorporation of his son, Lalo Antón, into the business boosted international sales and led to the company's expansion. Under the name Artevino, the company took on new projects, including Finca Villacreces (D.O. Ribera del Duero), Bodegas Vetus (D.O. Toro), and Orben (D.O.Ca. Rioja). The commitment to quality, the connection to gastronomy, and the deep attachment to the land are the foundational pillars of Bodegas Izadi.

Bodegas Amezola de la Mora
(Winery in Banos de Ebro/Manueta)

Bodegas Amezola  Bodegas Amezola is the first château in La Rioja and a pioneer in the self-supply model. It has 60 hectares surrounding the winery, and does not buy any grapes as all the wines it makes come from its own vineyards. This landscape of the vineyard surrounding the old winery dating back to 1816 with the Sierra de Cantabria as a backdrop makes this winery one of the most beautiful to visit in La Rioja. In addition, the winery, which is over 200 years old, is one of the oldest, and has some impressive underground cellars that are well worth a visit. The current owners, María and Cristina, are sisters and are the 5th generation of the family to run the winery. They became the youngest winemakers in Spain in 1999 at only 17 and 18 years of age. Bodegas Lecea
(Winery in Banos de Ebro/Manueta)

Bodegas Lecea is located in the historic neighborhood of Las Cuevas de San Asensio. In this same hill there are more than 300 cave cellars built in the XVI century by the farmers of the village for the storage of wines at a constant temperature of about 13º. The Lecea family has maintained four cave-openers in operation where they continue to make their wines in concrete vats. The view of this winery will take us back to the origins of Rioja wine.
