The Celler Pasanau, located in La Morera de Montsant (Tarragona), was established in 1995. It is part of the A.O.C. (Denominació d’Origen Qualificada) Priorat, one of Spain’s top quality grape and winegrowing areas, which was first recognized as a D.O. (A.O.) in 1932, and was granted the D.O.Ca status in 2000.Our great-grandparents started working the vineyards many years ago. Generation after generation we continued to make our wine, until 1995 when Joan Pasanau and his three sons Joan, Albert and Ricard founded the current company under the name Celler Pasanau.
