Located on the picturesque hills of Castelferrato in the province of Chieti, the land, gifted by his grandfather Agostino, is Riccardo's inspiration. The estate stretches between the Adriatic Sea and the Majella mountains, where the sun-soaked, lake-nourished vines thrive under the loving care of the family. Positive experience
My husband and I went to Cantina Buzzarone yesterday afternoon for the wine tasting tour. It was a wonderful experience thanks also to Gabriella, who told us the whole family history and showed us the vineyard, the cellar, and dulcis in fundo prepared glasses of wine to taste with cold cuts and cheeses. We also met Riccardo and his wonderful baby... Super kind and helpful people. Wonderful and peaceful place... with lots of greenery and so much peace... I strongly recommend trying this experience...

The hours spent here at the Buzzarone winery were fantastic. Gabriella was fantastic, not only in how she told us all about the family's life in the fields and the entire production process, but she was also excellent in guiding us through the tasting. I believe a stop at this winery is a must for anyone who truly wants to understand the Land with its fruits, passions, difficulties, and rewards. The tour included a walk that introduced us to the various types of vines, from Trebbiano to Cococciola, Pecorino and Montepulciano.
We then moved to the sheds to see the machinery and the various types of containers, all the way to the barrels.
The visit concluded with the most interesting part, that is, the wine tasting, a good 5 types. All accompanied by various Abruzzese specialties that competed with their flavors and aromas with the equally savory and fragrant wines.
There was no shortage of stories and anecdotes about the family and the places.
Given the high quality of the products we discovered, we would like to see them more widely advertised in the area.

Gabriela was waiting for us, she started with a tour of the vineyards, gave us a detailed explanation of the different grapes. Later she showed us all the process for making the wine.
