The history of the F.lli Massucco winery, rooted in the Roero area, dates back to the early 1900s when the family began cultivating vineyards that now produce some of Piedmont's most esteemed wines. Over 5 generations, the family has meticulously passed down traditions, balancing innovation with respect for the land. Located in a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the winery focuses on preserving the natural aromas and flavors of the region's grapes. Winemaking practices emphasize authenticity, using steel tanks to maintain purity, with select reds aged in cement tanks and French oak barrels.

Massucco Winery is committed to sustainable viticulture, managing approximately 20 hectares of vineyards through manual techniques like Guyot training and green pruning. The winery's participation in "The Green Experience" ensures environmentally responsible practices, such as herbicide-free grass mowing, legume planting, and installing bird and insect nests to promote biodiversity. Beyond producing red and white wines, Massucco offers classic methods, grappa, chinatos, and vermouths, all embodying the rich heritage and unique terroir of the Roero area. The wines reflect a deep connection to the land, offering a genuine taste of Piedmont's traditions and innovations.

Massucco wines emphasize authenticity, aiming to preserve the natural aromas and flavors of the grapes. To achieve this, the winery primarily uses steel tanks for vinification, ensuring that the wine's essence remains unaltered. Select reds undergo further refinement in cement tanks and are aged in 3,500-liter French oak barrels and 225-liter barriques. Massucco Winery produces 150,000 bottles annually, utilizing 6 grape varieties: Arneis, Favorita, Chardonnay, Dolcetto, Barbera, and Nebbiolo.

The production is diverse, ranging from the approachable "Langhe" line to classic Barbera, Dolcetto, and Nebbiolo, including "Superiore" versions aged in French oak. The most distinguished offerings come from the Roero territory, featuring Roero Arneis, Roero, and Roero Riserva, which showcase the unique character and heritage of the region. These wines represent a harmonious blend of tradition, innovation, and a deep respect for the land.
