The estate was founded in 1995 in the ancient farmhouse Giribaldi in a hilly area of the most beautiful in Piedmont. The farm was completely renovated while retaining the original structure dating to '800 with the desire to create a 'wine reality' of great value. Initially, the company was run with great passion and enthusiasm by Mariagrazia Macchi that in a few years succeeded to establish herself as a producer of high quality . In 1999 her son Emanuele Colombo joined the company and now personally oversees all production processes from the vineyard to the marketing of products on the international markets. Still the company's choices have remained the same and then all point in one direction, towards one goal: get absolute quality and preservation of those characteristics of uniqueness and typicality that characterize the territory of South Asti and its products , first of all the wine. Piedmontese winemaker Beppe Caviola and the friend Matteo Graziano collaborates with Emanuele for the performance of his work.

The estate currently owns 11 hectares of vineyards set in the villages of Calamandrana and Vaglio Serra. Our "crus" are Bricco Castellaro and Monte del Mare, both located in the Val Sarmassa Nature Reserve between the towns of Vinchio and Vaglio Serra. In Calamandrana village there are Moscato and Sauvignon vineyards and also an old Barbera vineyard.
