Schönes, gepflegtes Weingut in der Umgebung von Palermo mit ausgezeichneten Weinen, Der Guide ist sehr freundlich und vermittelt interessante, für jedermann verständliche Information über die Lage, Anbaugebiete und Traubensorten. Dies macht er mit sehr viel Elan und Humor. Ich kann diese Degustation sehr weiterempfehlen, wir waren begeistert.

Alessandro hat seine Führung mit viel Liebe und Stolz durchgeführt, Die Weine zum Probieren waren toll. Wie bei großen, modernen Weingütern, denkt man eher an eine Fabrik, als an ein romantisches Weingut.
Die Anfahrtsbeschreibung (Tipps) könnte besser, detaillierter sein

Great tour by Alessandro on really short notice

We booked through Winedering less than a day in advance. Alessandro called me less than an hour after booking to confirm the time and we were set. We had a quick tour (4 people, three small children) - Alessandro explained the production very well for the wine enthusiasts and offered some grapes to keep the kids occupied. Not a cute small chateau but a great example of modern wine-making.

We tasted a good variety of wines and ordered some to be sent back home (delivery costs get reasonable if you get to 6 boxes - which isn't hard to do if you can pool your orders).
The product range is quite big and the wines are very different in character so it makes sense to give some thought to what kind of wines you prefer. Alessandro was happy to let us taste a few more to find our favourites to buy.

Me and my boyfriend went together, we are wine lovers, and this experience just made us love wine even more! Our guide was very passionated, he was happy to answer any question (even for the unexperienced drinker, no question could be stupid, but welcomed)! We laughed, and drank delicious wine that were served in a perfect order!

Posto da paura.
The winery itself is stunning, tucked away in a beautiful mountain setting super easy to access from Palermo.
Our guide/sommelier Alessandro was perfect. His knowledge of the wines, the land, and history really made for a wonderful visit. The tasting was even better than the tour! The selection and quality of wines really makes the trip.
We would go back tomorrow if we could. Absolutely recommended for wine lovers and lovers of all things beautiful.
Posto davvero stupendo e vale il viaggio. Vini fantastici, accoglienza stupenda. Siamo rimasti veramente super contenti!

At Baglio di Pianetto, the winemaking process is deeply rooted in the philosophy of maintaining the integrity of the fruit and optimizing natural resources. The winery operates two estates: the Pianetto Estate near Palermo and Contrada Baroni in Val di Noto. Grapes are vinified on-site, ensuring that the freshness and quality of the harvest are preserved. The Pianetto cellar, ingeniously designed to use gravity for the movement of musts and wines, minimizes the need for mechanical intervention, preserving the purity of the fruit. This high-rise cellar, embedded 32 meters below ground, utilizes natural insulation from the earth to regulate temperature, offering optimal conditions for aging wines in both barrique and bottle.
