If only these walls could talk...a visit to Baileys of Glenrowan Cellar Door has been a rite of passage for generations of visitors to North-East Victoria. To this day we hear stories from returning wine lovers who first visited Baileys thirty, forty and sometimes fifty years prior. They recall the heady aromas of the cellar, wine soaked earthen floors, tasting samples drawn directly from ancient barrels and the affable hospitality extended to all. Today the century old tasting area boasts a few more creature comforts, though has lost none of its old world charm. A full range of wines are available for tasting including famed labels such as the 1920s Block Shiraz and Founder Series Classic Muscat. Be sure to look for limited release and Cellar Door only wines such as the Petite Sirah, ND (Naturally Dried) Merlot Cabernet and Varley Shiraz.
