About Winery and Wines
Our family’s winemaking tradition dates back to 1928, beginning with great-grandfather Giovanni and continuing through four generations of dedication and passion. Our journey started with Giovanni’s tireless work in the vineyards, followed by grandfather Armando, who firmly expanded the winery with hard work and devotion. The family legacy grew stronger with his son, Giovanni, who guided the business until 2021. Today, the fourth generation, led by Fiona and her husband Adriatik, continues this proud tradition. Our winery embodies the values of family, determination, and a deep connection to the land. Located in the heart of Monferrato, we cherish the legacy of those before us, while forging a modern path forward. Visitors can experience the rich history of our winery, from its humble beginnings to its current success as a producer of fine wines, particularly Ruchè, an iconic native grape of our region.
Our winery produces five distinctive wines, each crafted with care and reflecting the unique terroir of Monferrato. The highlight of our production is the Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato, a native variety known for its delicate red hue, floral notes, and hints of berries and spices like black pepper. On the palate, it is soft, long-lasting, and deeply satisfying. The Barbera d'Asti, with its intense red color, exudes aromas of blackberry, raspberry, and ripe cherry, offering a fresh, floral, and dry taste. Our Piemonte Cortese, with its straw yellow color, reveals a complex bouquet of white peach, apricot, and hawthorn flowers, enhanced by a slight mineral touch—perfect for aperitifs and light dishes. Monferrato Dolcetto, deep red with purplish reflections, presents red fruit and floral notes, with a dry, aromatic, and balanced acidity. Finally, the Freisa d'Asti, with its intense red color and rose-raspberry aroma, develops rich, evolving scents that delight over time. Each bottle is a celebration of tradition and craftsmanship, best enjoyed with family and friends.
