Bodega Gil Berzal is a family-run winery nestled in the historic village of Laguardia, in the heart of the Basque Country.
Brothers Saúl and Benjamín Gil Berzal represent the fifth generation of dedicated winegrowers and winemakers, continuing a legacy that began over a century ago. Deeply rooted in tradition and driven by a passion for their land, they have inherited not only knowledge but also a profound respect for the vineyard and its rhythms.
The entire estate is 100% organically farmed, reflecting the family’s unwavering commitment to sustainability and authenticity. Rejecting conventions and dogma, their mission is to craft wines most naturally and honestly as possible, allowing the unique character of their terroir to shine through in every bottle.
Bodega Gil Berzal treats wine with the reverence it deserves — as a form of art.
