In the Natural Park of La Geria, with an area of 5,225 hectares and close to the National Park Timanfaya, we find a spectacular landscape covered black blanket of volcanic ash, where we can admire the beauty of a barren landscape after the last volcanic eruption (1730 - 1736) and adapted over time by the hand of man, following his instinct for survival and adaptation to the environment around him. The winery was built in the late nineteenth century by the family Rijo. In 1993 it was acquired by its current owners, the family Melian, who have collated the most ancient traditions of developing the most advanced winemaking technology.
