Bodegas Verdúguez is located in the heart of La Mancha, in Villanueva de Alcardete, province of Toledo. The winery is a small and medium sized family business, 4th generation. It is mainly devoted to the production, ageing and bottling upper quality mono varietal wines. The actual wine cellar was set up the same year it was built, in 1950. Some years later, our actual Chairman bought this winery to turn it off into Bodegas Verduguez SAT. Since then on, our wine cellar has not stopped growing, exporting today our wines to more than 25 countries all over the world. The spirit and essence of old wineries where the content and not the container was the important, has not being lost. Since our wines are produced with special care to offer our clients the best of La Mancha grapes. On the other hand, we started to restructure the vineyard; changing traditional plantations to typical Spanish grape varieties together with foreign ones and modernizing recollect techniques. Today, we are proud to say that we have one of the most modern wineries in the world. Bodegas Verdúguez Bodegas Verdúguez is located in Villanueva de Alcardete in the eastern part of the province of Toledo in central Spain. The town belongs to Castilla La Mancha region and it is inscribed in the Council Regulation of “Denominación de Origen La Mancha”. We are just 115 km away from Toledo and 120 km away from Madrid.

We have our own vineyards, which yield wine of several varieties, which we then distribute both on the national and international markets. The ground is sandy in some areas and clayey in others and not very deep. All these conditions of rain, ground and isolation provide us with grapes of a high quality. Bodegas Verdúguez uses natural production methods which range from the type of the grape used to the cultural factors involved in harvesting, all part of our region La Mancha. Our wines are made from grapes picked at the perfect moment of ripeness and carefully fermented under rigorous control at low temperatures. We join together the traditional methods with the avant-garde technology as the stainless stell by us offer you all the products that the exigent world-wide markets request at the present time. Situated in the central plateau of the Iberian Peninsula, La Mancha is the most extensive natural region of Spain and the most important grape and wine-growing zone of the world, where you can find the largest area of vineyard per km².
