About Winery and Wines

Our winery is located in the middle of our vineyards. Its design is practical as well as beautiful. Its architectural lines are those of the historical "Las Ventas" of La Mancha. These Ventas or roadside inns were places where growers, wine merchants and other tradesmen gathered to sell or trade their products and services. The winery takes the name "Finca la Venta de Don Quijote" as this was the location of a much older "venta" dating from the time of the fabled literary Knight, Don Quijote. The winery has 52.000 square meters (559,723 sq feet) of working space divide in four main zones: crushing and fermentation, storage and aging, bottling and warehousing. The aging area is below ground level and is temperature and humidity controlled with a three thousand oak barrel capacity. We have two separate bottling lines. One for our stainless steel non barrel wines and a separate line located underground and isolated from the barrel room for bottling of fine barrel aged wines. Our winery is state of the art and 100% of our wines, approximately 800,000 cases are estate grown and bottled.
