Circa 300 milioni di anni fa il Supervulcano della Valsesia esplose eruttando un'immensa quantità di materiale, dalle rocce del vulcano e dal deposito di materiali morenici dallo scioglimento del ghiacciaio del Monte Rosa, si formarono le Colline Novaresi. Proprio su questo territorio, nel comune di Bogogno, mio padre Vittorio ed io a decidemmo nel 1996 di piantare 10 ettari credendo nell' enorme potenzialità di questa zona. La filosofia con cui produciamo i nostri vini si basa sul connubio tra la qualità dell’uva coltivata nelle proprie vigne e la cura e l’attenzione poste nella vinificazione.Le vigne vengono gestite quasi solo manualmente, nei vigneti non si effettua alcun diserbo chimico e si limitano i trattamenti per la difesa della vite rispettando il naturale ecosistema del vigneto e dove necessario intervenendo in maniera non invasiva per le piante. La stessa filosofia viene utilizzata in cantina. Right on this territory, in Bogogno, my father Vittorio and I decided in 1996 to plant 10 hectares believing in the enormous potential of this area. The philosophy with which we produce our wines is based on the combination of the quality of the grapes grown in our vineyards and the care and attention given to the vinification. The vineyards are managed almost only manually, no chemical weeding is carried out in the vineyards and the treatments for the protection of the vine are limited, respecting the natural ecosystem of the vineyard and where necessary intervening in a non-invasive way for the plants. The same philosophy is used in the winery.
