About Winery and Wines
Azienda Agricola Bruscia is a family-run winery located in the Marche region, with roots in viticulture dating back to 1889. Founded by Tullio and Dino Bruscia, the estate has grown significantly, now managed by Dino's sons, Davide and Paolo, alongside Stefano and Modeastino, Tullio's sons. The winery has a modern 800-square-meter cellar and focuses on producing high-quality organic D.O.C. wines. The first vineyard was planted in Spicello in 1947 by Osvaldo Bruscia, continuing the family's passion for wine production.
Cantina Bruscia produces wines from grapes cultivated in San Costanzo, within the Marche region, across nearly 50 hectares of vineyards at 200 meters above sea level. The predominant white variety is Bianchello (also known as Biancame), while smaller quantities of Malvasia, Famoso, and Incrocio Bruni are also grown. For red wines, Sangiovese is the main variety, with additional grapes like Montepulciano, Lacrima di Morro, Cabernet, Merlot, and Centesimino. The vineyards enjoy a southeast exposure, and Bruscia is committed to organic farming, minimizing environmental impact and protecting groundwater.
To uphold tradition while enhancing quality, the winery built an 800-square-meter cellar, equipped with modern technology and overseen by an expert oenologist. This allows them to interpret the unique characteristics of the Marche region, producing wines that reflect a deep bond with the land. Their organic approach fosters investments in the region’s future, aiming to preserve the natural landscape for future generations.
