Cantine Galasso is a privately owned winery located in Loreto Aprutino, Abruzzo Region, in one of the most qualified areas for vine growing. Main wine, from our area and from our winery, is Montepulciano d’Abruzzo doc (and doc RISERVA). We also grow a good number of other well known varietals. We control full process: from vineyards to bottle. The large availability of selected grapes, the use of most updated technology in the winery and the support of highly recognized professionals make Cantine Galasso one of the most significant wine producers in the area. The winery currently produces 3.000.000 bottles per year (from approx 220 ha of which 120 owned vineyards and 100 controlled) These are grape varietals we grow: Montepulciano, Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Trebbiano, Pecorino, Chardonnay is a privately owned winery based in Aprutino Loreto, in the province of Pescara. We are one of the most suitable areas for the production of Montepulciano d’Abruzzo doc. The main wine is Montepulciano d’Abruzzo doc, which is produced from grapes grown by over 120 hectares of vineyards owned by Ettore Galasso, and as many acres of vineyards in the area, which he directly controlled.
