Founded in 1999 in Montemarano, in the heart of Irpinia, the Giovanni Molettieri winery carries on a deep-rooted family tradition of winemaking passed down through generations. Surrounded by breezy hills and ancient soils devoted to viticulture, Montemarano lies within a DOCG-recognized area known for producing some of Campania’s finest wines. Giovanni Molettieri is a historic producer of Taurasi DOCG and Aglianico, the flagship varietals of Irpinia. Over time, we’ve enriched our wine portfolio to include other noble native grapes such as Fiano di Avellino, Greco di Tufo, Coda di Volpe, and Falanghina. Each label reflects our commitment to crafting high-quality, balanced wines that stay true to the ancient flavors of Irpinia. With respect for tradition and a focus on terroir, our wines are designed to fully express the identity and aromatic complexity of each grape variety.
