Stunning location and even better wine! Sophia who took us on a guided tour was very knowledgeable and we had a great picnic sampling 3 different bottles of wine with a huge spread of local cheese and meats. Highly recommend.

È stato molto bello scoprire questa cantina storica, con delle chicche che non avevo mai potuto vedere in altre parti. La guida è stata gentile e simpatica, e la degustazione di livello. Esperienza consigliata.

Siamo stati accolti in una location davvero bella, immersa nel verde! Appena arrivati in cantina, il personale ci ha accolto in modo gentile e premuroso e con molta professionalità ci hanno accompagnato all' interno della cantina e ci hanno spiegato in modo eccezionale tutto il lavoro che c'è dietro ogni singola bottiglia di vino!
In seguito c'è stata una degustazione in cui il bravissimo e preparatissimo Edoardo ci ha raccontato in maniera eccellente tutto ciò che rappresenta il vino Mazzarosa per poi farcelo degustare tra la simpatia e la convivialità di tutti i presenti!

Abbiamo fatto una degustazione io e la mia ragazza presso la cantina e siamo stati benissimo. La visita della cantina è stata stupenda e la degustazione altrettanto. I vini erano ottimi e la ragazza che ci ha servito era molto gentile e professionale. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Esperienza fantastica. Il personale molto gentile e cordiale, massima preparazione nella spiegazione attenta nella cantina. Il tour in cantina è stato molto piacevole e interessante. L’area picnic molto grande, arieggiata e ombreggiata, perfetta per un pomeriggio estivo. I cestini molto abbondanti con tantissimi prodotti tipici della zona.
Esperienza fantastica, super consigliato.

Wine Tasting for the 1st time!

There were 3 of us visiting the winery for wine tasting and with only us the group, the experience felt very personal and special.
Sara our guide was lovely and knowledgeable. She made each wine she descibed very interesting with how it was made and which food best go with it. We all had many questions which she answered confidently.. We live in England but my family are from Abruzzo and my father makes wine ever year importing grapes from the Montepulciano range. His red wine is excellent, particularly with a meal, but it was fabulous to taste various wines from the region and find out how they were made using different methods giving it particular tastes.
It was also interesting to learn of the history of the cantina.
The whole experience was thoroughly enjoyed and I will be recommending Cantina Mazzarosa to others.
In fact we have plans to return with 2 other parties staying at our B&B this summer.
None… it felt very relaxed with beautiful surroundings!
