Casca Wines was founded in 2008 by winemaker Hélder Cunha, born from a desire to create authentic Portuguese wines that reflect the true essence of each demarcated region of Portugal. Inspired by his hometown of Cascais, and challenged by the raw Atlantic conditions of the Colares micro-region, Hélder set out to produce unique, terroir-driven wines that defy expectations and honor tradition.

Today, Casca Wines is a national leader in organic and vegan-certified wines, with over a decade of experience, distribution in more than 35 international markets, and a portfolio that spans nearly every winemaking region in Portugal. The name "Casca" is both a tribute to Cascais and a symbol of wines that are bold, coastal, and deeply connected to place.

Casca Wines blends tradition with modernity, working hand-in-hand with growers and local winemakers to ensure that every bottle carries the personality of the vineyard and the people behind it. Winemaking Principles:

Little Intervention
We use wild yeasts and allow natural fermentations to unfold, requiring careful attention but resulting in wines of remarkable complexity.

Micro-Vinification
