About Winery and Wines

Marco Minnucci lives and works since 2008 in Costigliole d'Asti, where he produced wines from indigenous Piedmontese grape varieties with passion and commitment. He learned his craft from Roberto Voerzio in La Morra. For us, a natural viticulture is an obvious choice. Therefore neither chemical fertilizers nor herbicides are used. We reject on principle any mean that could affect the natural growth of the vines. The yield is reduced by repeated pruning of about 1 to 1.5 kilograms per plant. In the cellar we produce without the addition of yeast to support the natural fermentation or any other additives that could affect the characteristics of the wine. Thus stands out our Barbera by its intense ruby red colour and by the typical notes that remind us of the hills between Alba and Asti which are left in the nose, the mouth and on the palate.
