Des vins de caractères
Pendant la dégustations, les vins étaient tous très bons. Je ne suis pas une experte mais même si j’ai toujours préféré les vins blanc que les vins rouges, j’ai quand même étais très étonnée par la douceur et à la fois le caractère de chacun des vins que j’ai eu la chance de goûter. J’ai vécu une très belle expérience ! Merci beaucoup et Bonne continuation
Peut être que pendant la visite, nous aurions apprécier de voir un peu plus l’extérieur et les vignes, ainsi de comment se passe physiquement la récolte du raisin.

Castello di Radda is a storied estate located in the heart of Chianti Classico, an area renowned for its centuries-old winemaking traditions. The winery is nestled in the rolling hills of Radda in Chianti, a medieval village that has been at the center of Tuscan viticulture for generations. Castello di Radda was established with the goal of preserving and enhancing the unique qualities of its vineyards, which are situated on slopes with optimal exposure and soil composition for growing premium Sangiovese grapes.
Over the years, Castello di Radda has evolved by embracing modern winemaking technologies while remaining deeply rooted in the region's traditions. The estate covers 45 hectares of vineyards, all cultivated organically, a practice that began in 2015 and culminated in full organic certification in 2020. The winemaking philosophy at Castello di Radda is one of minimal intervention, allowing the natural characteristics of the terroir to shine through in the wines. The wines of Castello di Radda are a true reflection of the Chianti Classico terroir, with a focus on producing authentic, high-quality wines that express the distinct characteristics of the region. The estate’s vineyards are primarily planted with Sangiovese, the noble grape variety that is the backbone of Chianti Classico wines. In addition to Sangiovese, the estate cultivates small amounts of Canaiolo and Colorino, traditional grape varieties that add complexity and depth to the wines.
Castello di Radda’s Chianti Classico wines are known for their vibrant acidity, well-structured tannins, and rich aromatic profile, with notes of red berries, spices, and hints of oak from careful aging. The winery produces a range of wines, including Chianti Classico DOCG, Chianti Classico Riserva, and Gran Selezione, each offering a unique expression of the terroir.
