About Winery and Wines
We are Michel and Sally, a Franco-English couple running an organic winery in the heart of the Côtes de Bourg, a picturesque and hilly appellation in the Bordeaux region affectionately known as Little Switzerland. Our vineyard, which has existed since at least 1752, has been certified organic since 2001—but our commitment to natural, chemical-free farming began long before that. We care for our land using traditional methods that encourage biodiversity: no herbicides, no pesticides, and no weeding between the rows. Flowers, grass, and fruit trees support pollinators and balance the ecosystem. Every bottle we produce is made entirely on the estate, crafted with care and passion in our old cellar. We know each plot and every step from vine to bottle, ensuring wines that are better for you—and better for the planet.
Our estate is located on limestone and clay soils, ideal for producing wines with freshness, structure, and personality. We cultivate Merlot, Malbec, and Cabernet Sauvignon, which thrive in our eco-balanced environment shaped by the nearby river’s cooling influence. These native varieties express themselves beautifully in our wines, which are known for their depth, minerality, and elegant tannins. Expect well-balanced acidity, spicy and peppery aromas, and a structure that reflects our respect for the terroir and organic philosophy. From vine to bottle, every wine is made by us—no shortcuts, no chemicals, just pure Bordeaux character with a sustainable heart.
