Clos Bagatelle

Clos Bagatelle, established in 1623, has been passed down from mother to daughter for over a century. In 1995, Christine and her brother Luc took over, continuing the family legacy with a passion for the Saint-Chinian terroirs. Together, they expanded the vineyard and committed to environmentally friendly practices, earning the High Environmental Value (HVE) certification. Clos Bagatelle reflects a deep connection to the land, a shared drive for excellence, and a tradition rooted in creativity and exploration, all while maintaining a sustainable approach.

Clos Bagatelle's 20 grape varieties, including Carignan, Syrah, Grenache, and Roussanne, offer an expansive and creative range of wines. With 22 unique cuvées crafted in the last two decades, the estate produces wines of both complexity and elegance. Our red wines excel in aging potential, while our whites are transitioning to organic viticulture to further protect the environment. Each bottle captures the diversity of our four terroirs and the passion behind the craft, making every wine a reflection of our family’s rich winemaking heritage.
