About Winery and Wines

Corte Mamaor – A Wine that Tells the Story of the Land

In the heart of the Custoza wine region, amidst the gentle morainic hills overlooking Lake Garda, lies Corte Mamaor. Our name comes from Mount Mamaor, which, at 150 meters above sea level, watches over every vine we grow.

Since 1951, with our grandfather Luigi, our family-run winery has taken a long journey, transforming a small family production into a winery where the passion for wine grows year by year. From cultivating cereals and fruit to producing wine for private customers, we have become a reality where quality and tradition are timeless values.

Today, Nicolò and Riccardo, the third generation, continue with love and dedication the family legacy. In the vineyard and in the cellar, we work every day to create healthy, clean wine that respects nature. Our practices are meticulous: gentle pruning, a manual selection of shoots, and aging that preserves the essence of our land.

Each bottle of Corte Mamaor is the result of work that starts in the vineyard, with hand-picking and artisanal care, bringing only the best of our grapes into the cellar. Fermentation at controlled temperatures, minimal racking, and long aging on the lees give our wine structure, body, and elegance.

Come discover our story and taste a wine that reflects the passion and care of a family working with the heart.

Our Denominations:

Custoza DOC – Established in 1971, it is one of the first white wine designations in Italy. A blend of native white grapes that embody our land: a delicate aroma, freshness, drinkability, and a flavor that evokes the lightness of the Veronese hills.

Bardolino DOC – Created in 1968, this wine comes from the area southeast of Lake Garda, where the winemaking tradition merges with the landscape. A light and delicate red wine, made from a blend of Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella, typical of the region. Its dry, savory, and balanced taste reflects the authenticity of our land.

Garda DOC – Recognized in 1996, this designation covers the area around Lake Garda, stretching between Lombardy and Veneto, encompassing ten historical wine regions. An area rich in tradition, uniting various styles and flavors, yet with one common denominator: authenticity.

A New Beginning: Restyling and Renewal
In 2024, we decided to give our wines a fresh new look, with a complete restyling of our labels and packaging. We wanted a bottle that spoke of quality, and a label that expressed who we are, our territory, and our story. From this vision, our new design was born, featuring the hare, a symbol of our land, and the natural elements that define our region.

We chose to rename our denominations: Enosi Bianco and Enosi Rosso, a nod to the Greek word “Enosis,” meaning union. The union of grapes, the union of the land’s elements, and the union of the brothers, who, now in the third generation, carry forward the family project with passion.

Corte Mamaor's creations include Custoza DOC, Bardolino DOC, Veneto Garganega IGT, Garda DOC Cabernet Sauvignon, and Two sparkling wines – white and rosé.

Wines that are the result of our tradition, passion, and love for the land that has given us so much. Each bottle tells the story of our family and our land, merging the past and future in every sip.
