About Winery and Wines
FROM OUR HANDS forex material is a company that I formed with LAPO TARDELLI, agronomist, kindergartner and lifelong friend. I, GIULIO WILSON ROSETTI, besides being a singer-songwriter, am an enologist and thanks to the reconversion of ancient vineyards in organic farming I produce on the hills of Cerbaie, together with Lapo, a range of NATURAL WINES from ORGANIC FARMING. The vineyards are characterized only by TUSCAN VINEYARDS, such as PUGNITELLO, FOGLIA TONDA, ABROSTINE, ABRUSCO, which extend up to the protected oasis of Padule di Fucecchio. This project was born in 2005 when Lapo and I decided to restore some vineyards in Fucecchio. Many of these old vineyards belong to local farmers and they were in a dilapidated state, in a state of abandonment for many reasons: some related to the old age of the farmers and others due to low profitability. In all these years the project has evolved; today we cultivate 14 HECTARES OF ANCIENT VINEYARDS RESTRUCTURED, converted to organic farming and we collaborate with 14 OLD FARMERS. We use the ancient form of farming called GIRONE CAPOVOLTO TOSCANO (TUSCAN CAPOVOLTO VINEYARD) and we tie the shoots to the rows with willow branches without using plastic, just as it was done in the past. All agronomic operations, from pruning to harvesting the grapes, are performed manually with great passion, the same that characterizes the production of these natural wines that are all really passed from our hands.
We cultivate the vineyards of 14 local elders, an operation that has become a sort of BANK OF MEMORY, historical vines are recovered, the same ones that we now use to protect the memory and to preserve an ancient wisdom that is likely to disappear. To these gentlemen we dedicated our wine bottles, depicting their faces. We also planted new vineyards with ancient Tuscan varieties such as Pugnitello and Foglia Tonda. The wine we produce is alive, sincere and natural, produced respecting the environment and the people who drink it.
