About Winery and Wines

Hello and welcome to The Derbyshire Winery Limited, we are a small family based company who pride ourselves in having a hands on approach and willingness to listen and learn, from our customers comments and opinions. Our interest in wine was born many years ago making homemade wines from all kinds of fruits and berries handpicked from around the local areas of Derbyshire. Having spent several years in Research and Development I have been able to use this to my advantage when we embarked on the Winery research and development turning our dreams into reality making British Wines. We have attended many different events in Derbyshire and surrounding counties, which have given us an insight into what the general public expect from a British wine. We have used this knowledge, along with time spent studying, to learn just what can be done to make good quality wine here in the UK, The Derbyshire Winery way, and to hopefully change the public’s view of British wine. With our hands on approach from the very first step of the fermentation process to the finished bottle complete with cork, cap, label and delivery this has now turned into a passion that leads this committed family business to produce all types of wines which we hope, will suit almost everyone’s palate.
