Our vineyards thrive in volcanic basalt-rich soils, offering the perfect environment for cultivating grapes with naturally high sugar and acidity levels. This unique terroir, combined with the island’s maritime climate, results in wines that reflect the distinctive minerality and freshness of the Azorean landscape.

Located in the renowned Biscoitos wine region, our winery is deeply connected to the island’s culture and traditions. Local festivities, such as the Festa do Divino Espírito Santo and the Corn Husking Festival ("Desfolhada do Milho"), enrich the history behind every bottle we produce.

At Dimas Adega, we are committed to preserving the authenticity of Azorean winemaking while continuously innovating to create distinctive, high-quality wines.

We cultivate Verdelho and Arinto, two of the most emblematic grape varieties of the Azores, known for their intense freshness, bright acidity, and elegant mineral notes. These grapes thrive in the island’s volcanic soils and are influenced by the Atlantic winds, giving them a truly terroir-driven character.

To bring new dimensions to our wines, we have also introduced Caladoc and Seyval Blanc, European varieties that adapt exceptionally well to the unique conditions of the region. This bold approach allows us to craft complex, well-structured wines that offer a harmonious balance between fruitiness, acidity, and the distinctive salty minerality imparted by the sea breeze.
