About Winery and Wines
Since 1892, the family has been producing a sublime product with passion and dedication, giving it a pure soul. Andrea founded the Distillery in Conegliano in 1892. Matteo published the first scientifically documented Distillation Manual and guardian of his Method in 1896. Pietro united the Da Ponte/Fabris families, instilling a love of art and culture. At the beginning of the 1950s, Pier Liberale produced the first single-variety grappa made from Prosecco pomace, while Francesco was determined to maintain the ancient bond that has always seen the distillery intimately linked to nature, tradition and cutting-edge technology.
Distilleria Andrea da Ponte produces grappas, distillates, liqueurs... heavenly harmonies of taste and fragrance, from the highest tradition of distillation in the Veneto region. The sublime Da Ponte distillates are made only from freshly drawn, processed marc. The prosecco pomace comes exclusively from the Conegliano-Valdobbiadene area, protected by the Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita.
