(Winery in Loire Valley, Anjou, Saumur)
About Winery and Wines
Domaine de Rocheville was founded in 2004 by Philippe Porché in the heart of the Loire Valley, with a commitment to sustainable and organic practices. Located in the Saumur Champigny appellation, the estate focuses on cultivating Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc, two key grapes of the region. The winery combines tradition with innovation, reflected in their state-of-the-art facility and award-winning wines. With stunning views over the Parnay valley and the Loire River, Domaine de Rocheville offers a memorable experience for wine enthusiasts visiting this renowned area.
Domaine de Rocheville specializes in producing a variety of wines from Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc. Their red Saumur Champigny wines, like Le Page and Le Prince, are aged in stainless steel for freshness, while Le Roi and Le Fou are oak-aged for complexity. White wines include La Jouvencelle and La Dame, made from Chenin Blanc, showcasing elegance and balance. Additionally, they offer Crémant de Loire sparkling wines, crafted from 100% Chenin Blanc, and a sparkling rosé from Cabernet Franc, all reflecting the unique terroir of the Loire Valley.
