Jostela Boutique Winery, nestled in the Gevgelija–Valandovo wine region of North Macedonia, is a small family-run winery dedicated to crafting limited batches of premium, handcrafted wines. Founded in 2005 by oenologist Jovan Gelebeshev, Jostela began as a dream rooted in passion for the vineyard and respect for nature’s role as the true winemaker. Each bottle reflects the uniqueness of its harvest, with the team carefully guiding the process to highlight the natural character and beauty of every vintage. More than just producing wine, Jostela fosters a culture of connection—through intimate tastings, a welcoming wine club, and direct relationships with wine lovers—sharing not only their wines but also their story, heritage, and devotion to the art of winemaking.

Jostela Boutique Winery cultivates its own vineyards in North Macedonia’s Gevgelija–Valandovo region, where international classics like Merlot and Cabernet Franc grow alongside distinctive varieties such as Žilavka. With a philosophy rooted in respect for terroir and careful hand-crafting, Jostela produces small-lot wines that range from fresh whites and elegant rosés to structured reds and barrel-aged blends like the signature Bordeaux-style cuvée “Gaudium.” Whites and rosés are typically released young to highlight fruit and freshness, while reds mature longer in oak and bottle for depth and character. By balancing internationally recognized grapes with revived local varieties, Jostela expresses both heritage and innovation, offering wines that embody the passion, patience, and identity of our vineyards.
