About Winery and Wines
Ktima Kappa is a modern yet deeply rooted family winery located in Naoussa, Central Macedonia, at the foot of the Vermion Mountains. Founded by Tassos Karagiozidis, a former business executive in Germany who returned to fulfill his father's dream, the winery is now run with passion and vision by the Karagiozidis family. With 10 acres of vineyards cultivated organically and a deep commitment to minimal-intervention winemaking, Ktima Kappa is more than just a winery—it's a place where tradition, music, and Greek hospitality come together. The estate is open to the public and approved by the Ministry of Tourism, offering tastings, educational tours, musical evenings, and hosting private events. Here, every visit becomes a celebration of wine, land, and the stories behind them.
At Kappa Winery, we produce natural wines with minimal intervention, low or no sulphites, no added yeasts or stabilizers, and no filtration—letting the purity of the grape shine through. Our organically cultivated vineyards span 7 hectares in Naoussa, Giannakochori, Fytia, and Angelochori, and are planted with Xinomavro, Merlot, Syrah, and Agiorgitiko. We also source native white varieties such as Assyrtiko, Roditis, Malagouzia, and Sauvignon Blanc from trusted growers. Our wines range from fresh, entry-level bottles in the Rythmos series to complex expressions aged in oak barrels, amphorae (Kvevri), and bottles. Every wine is vinified on-site under controlled temperatures to highlight primary aromas, resulting in 80,000–90,000 bottles annually across 10 labels. A distillery on the premises also produces traditional Greek spirits, adding another layer of heritage to the Kappa experience.
