Kir-Yianni was founded in 1997 by Yiannis Boutaris, a key figure in Greek winemaking, after his departure from the Boutari Wine Group, established by his grandfather in 1879. Now led by Stellios Boutaris, the estate balances family tradition with innovative winemaking techniques. Focused on producing high-quality wines that highlight the potential of the Greek vineyard, Kir-Yianni specializes in indigenous varieties like the noble Xinomavro.
