Discover the world of Poggio al Grillo, a family-run winery located in the hilly area of ​​Castagneto Carducci. Founded by cardiologist and passionate vigneron Alessandro Scalzini, who planted the first 0.5 ha of Aleatico in 2008, the adventure has grown over time to involve the whole family. Today, the winery boasts 2 hectares of vineyards where you can find grape cultivars such as Aleatico, Petit Manseng, Trebbiano, long white Malvasia, Merlot, Cabernet franc, and Sangiovese. All the grapes are managed and vinified organically with respect for the balance of the vineyards and the surrounding nature, aiming to express the most authentic flavors of the cultivated vines and the territory in each bottle.
