Quinta do Porto Nogueira, established in 1738, has a long history of vine cultivation and has remained a significant estate for centuries. Acquired by new owners at the start of the 21st century, the vineyards were restored and replanted in their original terroirs, surrounding the historic country house and cellar.

Casa Romana Vini, founded in the early 2000s as a family business, is dedicated to producing unique, distinctive wines. The estate emphasizes organic grape cultivation and meticulous winemaking, resulting in wines that are recognized for their quality in the Lisbon and Tejo regions.

The family behind Casa Romana Vini has always been deeply connected to vineyard, orchard, and forest management, focusing on producing wines that prioritize the pleasure and well-being of those who enjoy them. Their dedication has flourished on two estates, Quinta do Porto Nogueira and Quinta da Escusa, where they have carefully replanted vineyards on the best terroirs formerly occupied by old vines. The family produces wines under the brands Villa Nogueira, Página, Quinta Nogueira, Berbereta, and Quinta da Escusa, with a commitment to authenticity and excellence.

Quinta do Porto Nogueira's vineyards are planted in clayey soils, with natural salinity and freshness, without irrigation, unique, marked by the influence of a natural microclimate at the foot of the Serra de Todo-o-Mundo ("All-the-World Mountain") and by the proximity to the Atlantic sea, which is 20 km away. Each parcel of Quinta do Porto Nogueira's vineyard - with DOC classification - is valued as unique and different, and all wines are made for the enjoyment of their consumers and to be enjoyed by them.
