About Winery and Wines

Azienda RipaNero is a small and proud producer of handcrafted wines from selected grapes in vineyards located on the slopes of Vulture. We belong to the northern area of Basilicata, where we have chosen to cultivate an ancient and native grape variety: Aglianico del Vulture. Our wines are low in sulfur, without chemical additives and produced respecting the surrounding ecosystem and human value. We vinify the grapes from the three different vineyards separately and subject the wines to three aging methods: a large Slavonian oak barrel for Physis, beautiful terracotta amphorae for Lògos and classic steel tanks for Sanzavino.
