About the Winery
Tenuta Arabona is a family-owned winery located in Manoppello, Pescara, founded in 2006 by Maria Antonietta and Domenico, continuing the legacy of Domenico’s parents, who started their winemaking journey in the late 1960s. The estate spans 20 hectares of vineyards and 1.5 hectares of olive groves, all cultivated using organic farming methods. Since 1991, the winery has been committed to producing certified organic wines, showcasing its dedication to sustainability and respect for the land.
About the Wines
At Tenuta Arabona, the focus is on native Abruzzo varietals, producing both still and sparkling wines. Among their offerings are Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC, Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo DOC, and Trebbiano d’Abruzzo DOC. Additionally, they craft wines from lesser-known indigenous grapes like Pecorino and Passerina, categorized under IGT Colline Pescaresi. The organic practices in the vineyards ensure a deep connection to the region’s traditions and a commitment to delivering authentic, high-quality wines that reflect the terroir of Abruzzo.

Hospitality and authentic flavors at Tenuta Rabona
The winery tour was led by extremely knowledgeable and passionate people, capable of conveying not only technical knowledge but also the deep love for their work and for the land. Every explanation was clear, engaging, and enriched with details that made the visit even more interesting.
The tasting was the culminating moment: the organic wines proved to be excellent, an authentic expression of the quality and care that characterize the Estate's production. Each glass told a story, made of tradition, respect for nature, and the pursuit of excellence. The products offered as accompaniments were also of the highest level, perfectly paired and capable of further enhancing the flavors of the wines.
