About the Winery
Tenuta Tre Gemme is one of the largest private wineries in Abruzzo, set between 350 and 450 meters above sea level in the prestigious Terra dei Vestini. Founded in the 1960s by Rocco Perrucci, the estate was revitalized by his daughters, Carla and Anna, in 2020. The estate spans 70 hectares of organic vineyards, strategically located between the Adriatic coast and Mount Gran Sasso. The winery offers a comprehensive experience, with a tasting room, pool area, and hospitality services, making it a sought-after destination for wine lovers.
About the Wines
Tenuta Tre Gemme specializes in native Abruzzo varieties like Montepulciano, Pecorino, and Passerina, along with international varieties like Pinot Grigio, Pinot Bianco, and a rare Riesling vineyard. All wines produced are certified organic, reflecting the estate's commitment to sustainable agriculture. The vineyards, influenced by the unique climate and altitude, produce expressive wines that embody the spirit of the Terra dei Vestini region. An experience to repeat at an authentic winery
The explanation of the vineyards, the territory, and the production methods was clear and also suitable for someone who, like me, is not an oenologist, but simply a wine enthusiast. The wines tasted were well-balanced, with some labels that really impressed me, especially for their clean aromas and balanced finish.
A very welcoming facility, well-designed and with great attention to detail. After the guided tour, we were welcomed into a guest room where a tasting of the winery's wines was set up, accompanied by excellent local products. The staff was very friendly and helpful, so much so that the real risk is leaving with a new passion for wine.
Wonderful birthday gift
This experience was given to me for my birthday and I spent a splendid sunny morning among the vineyards, accompanied by an aperitif with cured meats, cheeses and of course some very good wine.
