Teyras de Grandval
About the Winery
Teyras de Grandval is an organic wine estate producing Chinon appellation wines from 17 hectares of vines located in Cravant-les-Côteaux in the Loire Valley region. The vines are mainly located on the Cravant hillside and are mostly composed of Cabernet Franc and one hectare of Chenin.
A very detail-oriented and qualitative approach, from the soils and the vines to the wine-making process, enables us to respect the typicity of the appellation and the differences of terroirs while looking for excellence in our wines.
About the Wines
Teyras de Grandval produces Chinon appellation wines. Our wine range is composed of two red wines and one white wine. The wines are available in bottles, magnums, and jeroboams for the reds.
The wines are the final product of great care in the winemaking process. The grapes are harvested by hand and benefit from a long maceration before fermentation, before being aged in oak barrels in troglodyte caves.
